Sachsenring, Grand Prix of Germany, ninth round of the World Championship. After a first part of the season where the Marinelli Snipers team has sailed headwind, we arrived at the turning point and the team is expecting to have a fair wind from now on. With its 3670m of length, the Sachsenring is the shortest track of the calendar and has a 700m straight line long and 13 corners (10 left and only 3 right corners). It is not a difficult track, but with its continuous peaks and troughs and direction changes it tests physical preparation of riders.
Romano Fenati: "Sachsenring is a funny track. Last year, in Moto3, I finished second and it was my first podium on that track. This year, I face this circuit for the first time with a Moto2 and I am curious to know how it will behave in the direction changes".
Tony Arbolino: "I like this track: it has so many left corners and I feel more comfortable. Despite its length (it's the shortest track of the season), there are several points where we can do the difference. Last year I was really fast but this year we have to do better".
